Invitation to the Trans March, Augst 3rd 2024, 2PM

Koumbit invites you to participate at the 10th Montreal Trans March, which will take place on August 3rd, 2024, at 2PM at the Mont-Royal metro station.

End of support for php 7.0 - July 15th, 2024

Hello,

As you may know, PHP 7.0 reached its end of life a few years ago (January, 2018). The last security updates have been applied in January, 2019.

We understand that switching to a newer version of PHP can require some work, which was the reason we let you use it until now.

However, we have to move forward and stop maintaining deprecated versions of PHP which don't receive any security updates.

Koumbit is recruiting a WordPress and/or Drupal developer

Koumbit is hiring a PHP developer with experience in WordPress and/or Drupal who are motivated to work in a non-hierarchical collective. This position requires 4+ years of experience and is ideal for developers who would like to work closely with clients to realise dynamic web projects while contributing to and supporting the work of the Koumbit collective as a whole.

Koumbit supports the "Let's Defend Trans Youth" counter-protest on October 21st

Koumbit gives its official support to the counter-protest happening on October 21th 2023 and invites its members to be there.

Keeping in mind the fight against transphobia and the necessity to defend the rights of trans youth, a coalition of trans and queer groups and their allies invite you to take to the streets on the 21st of October to block “Ensemble pour protéger nos enfants” hateful anti-trans protest and their so-called “1 Million March for Children”.
