Le Grenier des savoirs gathers open access journals in order to give researchers in Africa, Haiti and all over the world the opportunity to freely and openly share and publicise their research and texts to create a pluriversal science that is both high quality, visible and accessible to all, in a perspective of cognitive justice and of contributing to common good.

Le Réseau Québécois des femmes en environnement works to create and promote innovative actions, and provide a space for dialogue to improve the environment, health, and wellbeing. The organisation approached Koumbit to help them create a public members directory and a private members database in their existing Drupal 8 site.
The organisation's needs:
The Coalition Solidarité Santé is a Quebec coalition of unions, community and religious organisations, and citizen commitees. Since its founding in 1991, the Coalition works on multiple fronts to defend the right to health care for the entire Quebec population, regardless of status or income. The Coalition approached Koumbit to have their site migrated from Drupal 6 to WordPress, for assistance updating their information architecture, and to put in place a new modern and responsive theme.
The organisation's needs:
The Lea Roback Foundation, inspired by Lea’s lifelong ideals as a social activist, awards scholarships to women residing in Québec who are socially committed and economically disadvantaged. Koumbit's web development team accompanied the Foundation in the improvement of its information and communication technology, first by helping them create an electronic version of their application form, and then in recreating their website in WordPress, a user friendly content management system.
A socio-educational charity organisation, Kidpower Montreal gives to youth, and to people of all ages and capacities, the skills to be able to use their power to stay safe, act wisely, and believe in themselves. Koumbit's web development team accompanied the organisation in a redesign of their website and helped them put in place an online signup system for their Kidpower trainings.

Koumbit will be closed this Friday, September 27th for the Climate March. Our emergency on-call services will continue to be available. We will be open again at our usual hours on Monday, September 30.
The Climate March will begin at the George-Étienne Cartier statue in the middle of parc Jeanne-Mance at noon on Friday.
