For clients in our self-managed hosting service, PHP 8.1 is now available as a choice for powering your web sites.
This option may be activated by going to the control panel and changing the type of a sub-domain to "Locally hosted (PHP 8.1)". Please note that this change updates the DNS entry, and the time until it becomes effective will vary based on the TTL you have configured for your domain. You can check your domain's TTL by editing it and clicking on the "settings" tab.
For those that manage their DNS entries outside of our infrastructure, the following entries may be used: a CNAME record to lb-php81.koumbit.net or an A record to 199.58.80.35.
If you have a site with a TLS certificate (HTTPS), please contact us if you would like us to update the PHP version used for your site.
