The Aegir web interface can be used, if you're a client of that service, to do a number of things:
- Add / delete your sites (up to your quota), and modify site settings
- Create / restore your own backups (including a complete backup if you're using SFTP)
- Site maintenance: clear caches, rebuild registry, reset admin password, run cron and database updates
- Turn on/off SSL for your sites
- Revert features, and (Drupal 8) sync configuration changes
- Duplicate your site (up to your quota)
- (Git enabled) Pull code / change pull settings
