Redesign and migration to WordPress from Drupal6

The Coalition Solidarité Santé is a Quebec coalition of unions, community and religious organisations, and citizen commitees. Since its founding in 1991, the Coalition works on multiple fronts to defend the right to health care for the entire Quebec population, regardless of status or income. The Coalition approached Koumbit to have their site migrated from Drupal 6 to WordPress, for assistance updating their information architecture, and to put in place a new modern and responsive theme.

The organisation's needs:

• Migration of posts, pages and media from Drupal 6 to WordPress
• A new responsive theme that harmonized with their existing logo
• The addition of functionalities such as a contact form, newsletter signup, and carousel

Our proposal:

• Create a development environment with a fresh WordPress install
• Choose a new responsive theme and integrate to work with the Coalition's logo
• Migrate all posts, pages, taxonomies, and media from Drupal 6 to WordPress with___PLUS DE DÉTAILS_
• Clarify and reorganize information architecture to simplify taxonomies and make content more accessible
• Put in place some custom templates to display attachments from Drupal 6 in WordPress
• Install MailPoet extension and put in place newsletter signup form
