Invitation to our 2012 Annual General Assembly

You are invited to participate in Koumbit's 7th Annual General Assembly, which will take place Saturday, December 1st, 2012.

The Assembly will be held in the same place as last year, at Centre Lajeunesse, 7378 rue Lajeunesse, Montreal, in suite 310. Participants are asked to arrive at 9am.

This event will allow members and those interested in Koumbit to learn about the past year's activities and to help us plan for the year ahead. We are particularly interested in your perspectives on the roles that Koumbit can play as a technological partner of civil society groups and organizations. As an organization that is collectively managed and connected to a broader community, we aim to contribute to a network of complementary initiatives, united by common values. We also encourage you to initiate other kinds of discussions at the open forum that will take place in the afternoon.

In the morning, we will present our latest annual report, financial statements, objectives for the coming year, and budget. We'll also fill two empty seats on our board of directors. A free buffet lunch will follow.

A more detailed agenda will be sent as part of the official invitation later this month. Please confirm your attendance as soon as possible by replying to this message.

All are welcome. Those wishing to become a member of Koumbit or to renew their membership may do so at the event; however only those who requested membership before October 3rd will be able to vote. Those who would like to be on the board of directors are invited to let us know as soon as possible, by writing to ca@koumbit.org.
