DMARC (Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting and Conformance) is a tool used to monitor e-mail authentification issues. You can configure your domain to be monitored and receive reports.
To configure DMARC with Koumbit's hosting services, all that is necessary is to add a TXT entry in your domain's DNS zone.
_dmarc. |
The sub-domain must be "_dmarc" and the content of the TXT entry should be similar to "v=DMARC1; p=none; rua=mailto:CONTACT@YOURDOMAIN" (although different configuration options may be entered). Replace "CONTACT@YOURDOMAIN" with the e-mail address at which you wish to receive the DMARC reports. If your contact e-mail is not in the same domain as you are receiving reports for, extra configuration steps are necessary.
Once the changes are published, you may verify the DMARC configuration for your domain here
