Website for the Montreal and Toronto Just for Laughs festivals

Koumbit helped develop new websites for the Just for Laughs festivals in Montreal and Toronto.

These projects required the full breadth of Koumbit's expertise to meet the demanding needs of this client, particularly in terms of advanced Drupal configuration and hosting infrastructure.

Koumbit's participation consisted of:

• Drupal site architecture consultation (planning an approach, choosing modules)
• Building a schedule management system for shows
• Integrating a visual design via CSS based on Adaptive Theme
• Developing a tourism package purchasing assistant integrated with Ubercart
• Integrating email delivery via Cakemail
• Hosting infrastructure consultation
• Configuring an Ægir-based hosting environment
• Load testing and server performance consultation (redundant, high-availability hosting)

The Cakemail email platform allows delivery confirmation and ensures that the sender is authorized (whitelisted) by most major email providers. We'll publish a new portfolio item for this module when it's released.
