Transnational Institute

We completed the redesign of tni.org, the website of a progressive think tank based in Amsterdam. In addition to forging a link with a politically interesting organisation, this contract allowed Koumbit to implement several powerful Drupal-related technologies.

We continue to provide additional support to TNI to help improve their site, deploy Aegir, and provide system administration support.

Tasks / elements that we included:

* Migration from Antenna's custom CMS to Drupal using Migrate and Table Wizard modules
* Complete redesign from information architecture to graphic design
* Implementation and custom development for the of the Lucene-based Solr search engine which enables faceted search of content.
* Performance and optimisation, including use of the boost module and the Varnish reverse proxy system
* Use of the Panels modules for creating multiple complexe page layouts
* Drupal theme development
* Agile development which allowed client to adjust priorities over the course of the project
* Regular coordination and training sessions that allowed the client to handle advanced configuration and management tasks.
