In order to set up a voting system for the 2008-2009 Participatory Budget, Koumbit installed and configured the Advanced Poll module (which is itself a "fork" of the work we did in 2006 for the Decisions project).
Koumbit members were invited to rank seven options, and decide how to spend a $5000 budget.
The screenshots above show the voting interface, as well as the results obtained with the instant runoff method and the Borda Count method.
In order to guarantee the validity and security of the process, a synchronization mechanism was set up thanks to the CiviRoles Sync module, so that only the valid members in the CiviCRM system be allowed to vote in Drupal.
