Alternatives asked Koumbit to overhaul their web presence, a transformation accomplished with Drupal 6 and a diverse palette of modules and techniques. We worked closely with the Alternatives team, and thanks to an iterative design process, we have created a site that expresses all the unique personality of this organization while remaining functional and elegant.
Star features of the Alternatives website:
- Geographic navigation of prohects, accomplished with nothing more than taxonomies and views. This function is the topic of its own blog post.
- Integration of content from several external sites via RSS.
- An intensive graphic design and theming process that has been well received.
- Agile development facilitated by an install of Aegir.
