Adaptive Sports Foundation
Project end date:
March 2010

The Adaptive Sports Foundation, a non-profit charitable organisation since 1995, operates and maintains educational programs that encourage physically disabled children and adults to discover new abilities through alpine skiing and water sports. Their main goal is to foster the development of self-confidence, self-motivation, increased physical strength and improved self-image while learning a lifelong sport or skill.

Koumbit was asked to help Adaptive Sports integrate their old site into a more dynamic and fresh design. We worked collaboratively with the team at Adaptive Sports to find appropriate Drupal modules, provide CiviCRM integration support, and help setup Open Atrium for their internal use.

Their site is now being used as a hub for youth with disabilities to register for their winter/summer programs, coordinate volunteers, and update individuals on events and programs.
