Koumbit has been building services based on the Aegir Hosting System, in one way or another, since the project's inception. So it's with great pride (and a little relief) that we happily announce the public availability of our latest.

Alternatives asked Koumbit to overhaul their web presence, a transformation accomplished with Drupal 6 and a diverse palette of modules and techniques. We worked closely with the Alternatives team, and thanks to an iterative design process, we have created a site that expresses all the unique personality of this organization while remaining functional and elegant.

The Open Learning Exchange (OLE) is committed to universal access to basic education by 2015. OLE's global approach to innovating education includes building national and international digital libraries of open and free courseware relevant to the goals and standards of interested countries.

Koumbit was asked to assist The Open Learning Exchange in their goal to develop a functional, easy-to-use CMS that provides ways to store, rework, collaborate, and translate courseware material to make it more accessible in countries throughout the world.
