Koumbit 5@7: Experiences of Collective Management
Collective Management is one of Koumbit's core founding principles. That said, its implementation and implications remain a source of occasional confusion for our organisation. We invite members and workers of other collectively managed organisations to share their experiences during the next Koumbit 5@7, to be held Friday, December 3rd. Questions and issues of the evening include:
- How can we define collective management?
- What are the consequences of a collective management style for work and workers?
- How do we (and others!) manage interactions with other organisational structures?
Our guests will include members of the Collectif de recherche sur l'autonomie collective - Kebec, as well as members of our own workers' committee and other mystery guests.
You can join us at the Bar Populaire, any time after 5 - good drink and good discussion will be on the menu. The Bar Populaire is located at 6584 St-Laurent, just a short walk from Beaubien metro station.
