Invite you to Koumbit annual general meeting 2011 - Sunday, December 4th, 2011

Dear members and friends of Koumit,

We would like to invite you to our annual general meeting, to be held on Sunday, December 4th, 2011.

This annual event is an opportunity for you, members and friends, to influence the aspects of Koumbit you feel strongest about. In the morning, the General Assembly will welcome your comments on decisions taken during the past year and vote on those which are planned for the year ahead.

In the afternoon, you can help us develop initiatives for improving our community involvement and our role with regards to our members. This series of open space forums will be dedicated to the subjects of your choice, along the theme "affecting Koumbit". With your participation, we hope to draw up a list of concrete actions we can undertake for 2011-2012.

The day is open to all, but only members will have the right to vote. You can become a member or renew your membership throughout the day. A Koumbit membership is a sign of support for our organization, and as a member, you will also receive our public news releases and benefit from certain discounts for our training sessions.

The event will be held on December 4th, 2011, at Centre Lajeunesse, located at 7378 rue Lajeunesse, Montreal, suite 111. The doors will be open starting from 9:30 am. The annual general meeting starts at 10 am and the open space forum begins at 2:15 pm.

Koumbit's board of directors currently has three vacancies. If you are interested in running for election, please apply by email to ca@koumbit.org at least 48 hours before the annual general meeting.
